My reflection about Computer Mediated Communication (week10)
Computer-mediated communication (CMC) has significantly changed the way we interact with one another, offering greater flexibility and convenience. However, it also raises concerns about potential miscommunication and a loss of emotional connection, largely due to the absence of non-verbal cues.
While CMC allows individuals to connect across long distances and encourages inclusivity, it can also lead to challenges such as diminished social skills and a heavy reliance on text-based interactions, which can affect the quality of relationships.
Additionally, the dynamics of online communication platforms can influence behavior and group interactions, underscoring the need for digital literacy to navigate and communicate effectively in an increasingly interconnected world.
