                                                                  Unspoken Words

In the academic paradise of the south, there was a girl named Mycah who had a secret crush on a boy named Kyle. Kyle was a star debater, known for his eloquence and sharp mind. Mycah admired him from afar, captivated by his confidence and passion for debating.

One day, Mycah decided to audition for the debate varsity team. She wanted to improve her public speaking skills and, secretly, hoped to get closer to Kyle. During the auditions, Kyle was there, helping his team and offering guidance to the new recruits. Mycah felt excitement and nervousness as she prepared for her turn.

When it was Mycah's time to speak, she took a deep breath and delivered her speech with all the courage she could muster. Alex watched her intently, and she felt a surge of confidence knowing he was there. After the auditions, Mia wanted to know more about Kyle, but she couldn’t bring herself to ask his name. She was too shy and afraid of revealing her feelings.

Weeks passed, and Mycah focused on her academics, pushing thoughts of Kyle to the back of her mind. Then, one day, a tragic rumor spread across the campus—someone had committed suicide. The news left everyone in shock, and Mycah felt a pang of sadness, though she didn’t know who it was.

Later, Mycah discovered that the boy who had taken his own life was Kyle. Her heart shattered as she realized she had learned his name only after he was gone. The weight of unspoken words and missed opportunities pressed heavily on her. She wished she had been braver, that she had reached out to him when she had the chance.

Mycah vowed to honor Kyle’s memory by speaking up and reaching out to others, hoping to prevent such tragedies. Though she never got to know Kyle as she had hoped, his impact on her life taught her the importance of courage and connection.
